PIC Spotlight

About

"PIC Spotlight" is an undergraduate seminar which provides a space for PIC students to talk about how they are using code in and outside of their PIC classes. Anyone enrolled or previously enrolled in a PIC class is welcome to give a talk between 10 and 20 minutes long. The goal is for students to inspire each other and to justify studying Data Science, Python, and C++ more rigorously and carefully in PIC 1, PIC 16A, and PIC 10A. Ultimately, PIC Spotlight aims to bring the community together, help students connect, share their passions, and stay motivated by seeing what is possible when creativity and code meet.

PIC Spotlight was inspired by an initiative of former PIC instructor Jiayin Lu. We are also grateful to DataX for their support of the seminar.
